SABI was contracted to provide events and logistics support to the Vote Leave campaign for a period of four months leading up to the 2016 EU referendum.
The challenge was to draw up a schedule that coordinated the activities of high profile supporters, covered as much ground as possible, and supported intensive efforts to turnout voters in key constituencies of support, as well as designing an engaging schedule to maintain momentum and generate excitement.
The approach we took started out with extensive consultation, liaising with the Head of Ground Campaigns and local regional structure in particular to assess existing capabilities, resources and weaknesses. We then met with each of the high profile supporters to understand availability before pulling together and implementing a comprehensive campaign schedule.
The success of the campaign was seen in the results of the referendum, in which 52% of voters opted for leave.
